My favorite activities are playing fetch, chasing my four-legged foster brother then snuggling up next to him to nap, chewing on bones, and going for hikes. She would thrive in a household that is active and would do well as the only dog or in addition to resident dogs. Since Avery is such a playful girl, small children may be overwhelmed with her happiness hence the over 8yrs. I have not observed food aggression or destructive behavior (toys or family belongings). She is good on the leash and friendly when passing others. Avery is fully housebroken and has not had any accidents.
