About Rally

Rally is a super affectionate 2-year-old black and white lab/pit mix. He will do really well with dogs with similarly medium-high energy levels. He loves to chase and play wrestle but also loves to cuddle up in his dog bed. Rally is really happy and excited to meet new people so he tries to greet them at eye level, though he is much more gentle with children in our experience. Since he's a little shadow, he is happiest when he is with his people. Though he WAS a world-class leash puller, it only took him two full sessions to walk on pace right next to me. He would benefit from continuing leash training. He is very food motivated and eager to learn, as he looks to us often for guidance. He doesn't bark much except when he wants to play with his dog friend. Rally has learned 'sit,' 'stay,' 'come,' 'ok let's go,' 'go,' 'drop it/leave it' from scratch in a very short amount of time. Right now, he's a sponge and is still soaking up a LOT of information and experience. Like a good boy, he waits patiently for me to say 'go' before he eats his meals and before he goes outside. Rally boy has so much love in his heart and he is just waiting for someone to let him show it. Housetrained- yes, very few accidents Crate trained- training in progress but receptive Kid friendly- yes, does well with 50 lb child Dog friendly- yes, but may do best with medium-high energy dog friends Cat friendly- n/a Good in car- yes Food-motivated- yes
