About Lotus

6/16/24 Lotus came into rescue with his brother when he was about 7 months old in Nov of '23. He's roughly a year and a half at time of posting and weighs around 65 pounds, he is possible a lab/catahoula/dutch shep mix with a beautiful brindle like coat with a gray undertone. He finds himself still in rescue while his brother was adopted many months ago. He has a sweet temper but due to spending most of his life on the streets and in rescue he can be a bit shy. When things get a bit loud or chaotic he sits in front of you and looks for guidance. He's needs a gentle family who will give him the time and love that he so desperately seeks while still offering stimulating training to help him grow in confidence. We are looking for a home that does not have young children, possibly another well balanced dog to help him blossom and a fully fenced and secure yard for him to play in. He's good with other dogs, we always encourage slow and proper introduction to any new dogs, but we have not seen him with cats at this time. **This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $250 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
