At this stage of her life, she was settled and living out her years with family and fellow furry friends. She now finds herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own, as her adopting family faces challenging times with employment, health issues, and financial struggles. Despite their efforts, keeping Betty Boop was no longer an option. This graceful dame has so much personality and a spirit that shines even in difficult circumstances. Betty loves the simple joys of life, whether it's running alongside other dogs or lounging around the house or on the porch. Her adaptable nature makes her a delightful companion, equally content in playful moments or serene relaxation. Betty Boop can be a bit dog selective. She thrives in the company of larger dogs but prefers a gradual introduction process to establish her place within the pack. Once acquainted, she has embraced the camaraderie of her fellow canines, enjoying the shared adventures and companionship. Betty has also proven to be a feline-friendly gal. Living with and getting along with cats has been the reality, as she carelessly ignores their existence, making her an excellent addition to homes with our feline friends. She has done great with children from as young as 9 months up to 15 years old. She has been sweet and submissive but if she decides she wants to be somewhere, she is pushing past everyone to get there and may not be mindful of her size. But has shown no aggression towards kids or people. Her previous life was one of exploration on a multi-acre property, where she would embark on little adventures with her pack through the pastures. Betty is familiar with life behind a 4-foot fence, content within the boundaries of her property. As Betty Boop enters this new chapter of her life, she brings with her a wealth of experience.
