About Chatenay

Rabbit
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Chatenay was rescued on October 6, 2023. She is one of twenty rabbits rescued from a neighborhood in Murrieta where a resident released rabbits into the streets to fend for themselves. Thank goodness she wasn't hit by a car! Thank goodness she wasn't a meal for a coyote or hawk! She is a small, young bunny like most of her bunny friends rescued from the same location. She was spayed on October 16, 2023. She loves playing peekaboo behind her curtain in her bunny bungalow. Since she had many bunny friends while on the streets, it is quite likely she might like a friend if you have a neutered male rabbit seeking a bunwife. She is sweet with a little bit of spunkiness mixed in! She is soaking up the head rubs when I stop by her space to say hello! Chatenay should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Chatenay can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
