About Kiwi

INDOOR ONLY HOMES PLEASE Kiwi was a stray rescued from the city of Long Beach on September 3, 2023. During her previous life on the streets she somehow lost a few toenails but it does not seem to affect her. It's rough out there! Her foster mom named her Kiwi as her fur coat looks similar to that of a kiwi fruit. Plus, she is sweet like a kiwi too. Kiwi is an active bun so keeping her stocked with toys to keep her entertained is essential. She eagerly greets you at the edge of her bunny bungalow for treats or affection. Kiwi was spayed on November 15, 2023. Kiwi should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. She can have that as her homebase or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Kiwi can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
