About Minnie

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Adrian, MI Minnie is a 6 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 61 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped, but isn't up to date on shots (except for rabies) or on heartworm prevention. Minnie is good with cats, dogs and older children! She hasn't been tested around smaller children. She prefers females and will growl at tall, big men wearing boots. Minnie has a bite history. These bites have occurred 5 times between April 2021-September 2022. She was sleeping and someone walked by, startling her, which caused her to bite and run away. The people who were bit were visitors or unfamiliar guests in their home. She also bit the owner's brother after he reached out to pet her while she was growling at him. The owner is surrendering her because their extended family is expecting babies and the owner is getting married. They don't want to put the dog in a situation where the dog could bite again. Minnie needs to find a new furever home! If you think you can provide a great home for Minnie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Minnie.
