About Stacy

This old lady is Stacy and she needs a pawspices hospices home. A senior who has only known outside prior, this 45lb girl deserves the best retirement. Thought to be a lab /plott hound mix, this beautiful girl definitely likes to bark like a hound. And most of the time for no apparent reason. I guess that's just part of being senile. Stacy is currently on medication for a UTI and double are infection, and the meds are making her feel so much better. Stacy does have Heartworms, but due to her age and existing shape, treating for the hw would probably take more of a toll on her body and heart then just keeping her comfortable and taking care of her other concerns. Not to mention our vets and myself can not see this old girl even making it through the entire year of heartworm treatment. So our plan is too make her comfortable, make sure she's happy, and get her into a perfect home who can shower her with love and take it day by day. Stacy is good with other dogs, I'd say no kitties. She's not housebroken, but isn't terrible with potting in the house. She is however very vocal and loves to bark and her new home needs to be tolerable of this . Just let he bark and do what she wants for what time she has left, she deserves to get whatever she wants these last months, or more.
