About Cobalt

Cobalt is a very sweet dog. He's a little on the aggressive side when it comes to other dogs. He wants to be the alpha and thinks he's tough. When I take him to Petco to be groomed, he acts like a wuss. He is very protective of me. I'm his person. When he has his mind made up about something, he can be determined. And he can be stubborn. He needs to be in a fenced in yard. He stays outside with my other dog. They don't always get along and he will not back down when my other dog and he havea little tiff. He never wins though. That's why I think it would be better for whoever adopts him, to not have any other dogs. I would like someone to be familiar with his breed and you have to have vet references because I won't let him go to just anyone. He was born in October of 2016. I've had him since he was a puppy but because he's so strong, I can't really handle him like I used to. I have advanced degenerative arthritis in my neck and shoulder so my left side is substantially weak. Cobalt can be a little much for me but for someone stronger, he would be a great dog. He is a very sweet dog and loves to be hugged and petted. He gives kisses. He knows 'sit', 'down' and is food motivated. He does great on a leash.
