She's a cool companion, getting along well with other dogs around her petite size. Her best buddy is Lavender, who she is related to. They look very much alike as well! Roma's zest for life is infectious, and she's ready to fill your days with laughter and love. Due to a past of neglected heartworm prevention, she was bit by a mosquito and infected with heartworm disease. It is treatable. Roma's rescue is ensuring she gets the care she needs under the American Heartworm Society protocol. In just a few months, she'll be free from heartworms, but in the meantime, she's hoping to find her forever home where she can be loved and cherished.
