About Milo

Meet Milo! Milo is honestly rescue perfection as he's housebroken and crate-trained. He also walks well on a leash. He waits in his open crate for his food. He's incredibly smart and knows 'sit' and 'give paw'. He does well with other dogs and loves kids but would do best in a home with confident cats or no cats (he will chase or corner a cat). He is friendly as can be and often thinks he's a lap dog. His previous owner had a baby and now has no room for him. Please help this boy find a family to love and keep him forever. Milo's birthday is 1/15/21 and he weighs 44 pounds. Update: Milo tested positive for Lyme & is currently on the usual course of antibiotic which will be sent home to his new family for completion. He does not seem to be bothered by it and is acting his playful self. Milo is currently available for adoption. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
