About Grayce

Hi, I'm Grayce, a brown pit mix. I am very gentle when taking treats. I also do the cutest army crawls. I was rescued by Operation Save a Shelter Dog, who gave me a second chance at life. I was a mom with no surviving puppies, and they brought me in to help a litter of puppies who would not latch on to their own mother. I did my best to care for them. I was emaciated and had mange when I came from the shelter. But my foster mom treated me and helped me recover. They are also paying for my heartworm treatment until I test negative. I'm 2 years old, female, 45 lbs., spayed, vaccinated, and on treatment for heartworms. I'm house trained and crate trained. I also sit when asked. I am very strong on the leash and hyper but calm once given a chance. I would do great with more leash training. I'm good with children, and I have a sweet and gentle personality. I am selective with other dogs and may need to be the only dog in the home. We don't know how I feel about cats, but I can be cat tested if you'd like. I'm grateful for everything that has been done for me, but I'm ready to find my forever home. I'm looking for a family who will love, play, and cuddle with me.
