About ECHO

Plott mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Echo Age: DOB 5/1/2020 Breed: Plott hound mix (60 pounds) Sex: Female (spayed) Location: Orange County, CA Echo is a beautiful girl in need of a new home. Her owners write that she has been aggressive a few times with their smaller dog and would do best in a home with no other dogs, but she loves people! Vet Info: Echo is spayed and up to date with vaccines including rabies and distemper. She is next due for her rabies vaccine in July 2024. She is heartworm negative and is next due for a heartworm test in 2024. Echo's owners tell us her blindness is due to trauma before they got her, but they believe she can see shadows. Dog Info: Echo is an indoor dog with run of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. She's a smart girl and knows several commands including, Sit, Go to your cage, No, Stay and Down. We're told she's good with men, women, and children. Echo can be possessive of food. Her owners tell us her excitement level increases around other dogs and when the other dogs start barking, that can trigger her. They gave us more details, 'bitten our other dogs, when the other dogs start barking triggers, if she walks into the other dogs space because of her blindness.' Echo's owners feel she adapts well to new situations despite her blindness and write, 'Yes we moved to a new house a few months ago does great. I use door mats so she knows direct great smell.' Other than her vision, we're told her health is great, and she loves to walk. She's currently walked three or four times a day. Her owners want everyone to know what a sweet girl she is! They tell us, 'Echo is a sweet and loving dog, who loves people, and laying in the sun, walks. It is because of her blindness that makes her nervous around other dogs' Please also click here to learn more about Echo: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=367010332390042&set=a.224369243320819 Please email [email protected] if you are interested in Echo.
