About Lexus

Lexus is your typical goofy Labrador! At 2 years old, she still has the energy of a puppy. Loves to chase the ball, and wants any toy the other dogs have. She plays with her foster brother and sister but needs a human to step in sometimes as she doesn't know when to stop playing or the signs the other dogs give her that they have had enough. Lexus is 67lbs, current on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and 1/12/24 had a cytopoint injection. She came into Crazy4Pawz Animal Rescue with bad allergies and upon doing a 5Strands Food and Environmental Test, we discovered her allergies were very severe, we also changed her diet to help with this issue. Lexus has one mode - RUN ��%8Fĉ'�%8D��'ە�%8F, so before taking her for a walk, we play ball pretty hard for 10-15 minutes first, then we can walk her. We are working on her social skills and separation anxiety (will bark non-stop if left alone) since intake and she would need an experienced labrador adopter and also a person/family that is very active. Lexus loves to swim, which will help get her energy out during the summer months. She also is an escape artist and will run out the door/gate if given the chance, so a VERY secure yard is needed. Lexus is not an easy labrador at this time, but has the potential as she ages, training, exercise, and a stable/predictable environment. She is very sweet, loves affection, is doggie door trained, sleeps through the night, and is a good watchdog as she has super sonic hearing and barks if there is any noise outside. Her adoption will come with food for a week, (cost is $160 a month for food that she is not allergic to), a Max and Neo Martingale Collar and Leash, an Apple AirTag that attaches to her collar, Allergy Test Results, homemade Treats and anything else that will help her transition into her new home.
