Meet Hudson This handsome boy is Hudson. Hudson is a three year old fox terrier/chi/doxi mix. Hudson, along with his 10 month old brother Hanson, were surrendered recently. The boys were caught in a house fire and saved by neighbors. They were traumatized and shut down. Their owners couldn't keep them at the new rental situation and asked us to find them loving homes. They are both confused and sad and feeling lost. We've been giving them as much love as they can absorb and every day they welcome more and more attention. Hudson is showing himself to be super sweet. He is gaining confidence and loves to be with people. He quickly learned that people give him confort and now jumps in your lap for a snuggle. Hudson is walking well on a leash and loves to explore. He loves to run around in the play yards, especially with his brother. Hudson is dog and people friendly, but he chases cats and small animals and will need to be in a home without them. Hudson travels well and will make for a good ride along buddy. Hudson has handsome markings, he's petite in size and easy to lift. He is smart, fun and eager to please. If looking for an adorable companion, Hudson (and maybe his brother Hanson) might be just what you're looking for. If interested in Hudson, please submit an application online at: https://www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/page/dog-adoption-application Once an application is submitted online, you will receive an email saying your application has been successfully submitted. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoptions and meet and greets are being scheduled by appointment only. Please email us or complete an application and someone will be in touch just as soon as they can.
