BILLY - ID #230416 Ramona Shelter, San Jacinto (Riverside County Area), So Cal !!URGENT!! Please help us find a good home or foster and rescue for handsome Billy, a young and smaller white husky mix who finds himself in a crowded shelter now at risk. Billy was found by a good samaritan who brought him to the Ramona shelter in hopes of finding his owner. However, his owner never came for him, sadly. The finder told us this is a wonderful dog who is young, healthy and his teeth look good. They said he is very sweet and friendly, walks well on a leash, rode well in their car, although he was afraid to get initially in it and had to be picked up with no issues. Billy was very thin when found, and may have been dumped and wandering for a while. He now weighs 41 lbs. The finder has even offered to assist someone with transport or adoption costs if needed as they care about this dog and do not want to see him euthanized for space. At the shelter, Billy has had no issues, and while not tested yet one-on-one with another dog, he has been fine meeting other dogs through a fence, and could be tested upon request.
