About Bubbles

Introducing Bubbles, a 1-year-old pup with an incredible journey: Bubbles came into our lives weighing only 27 pounds, a stark reminder of the hardships he's faced. He began his story as a stray, fortunate to encounter kind-hearted individuals who brought him to BCAS in early July. Bubbles embarked on a diligent refeeding plan to restore his health for a brighter future, becoming available for adoption in mid-August. Despite appearing on the news, he found himself still waiting for a loving home. While currently under treatment for an Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), we hold out hope that someone may consider fostering Bubbles until he's back to full health, ready for adoption. This sweet pup has come a long way and deserves his happily ever after. Shelter volunteers at BCAS noted his behavior, saying, 'His food test shows that he gives a small tail wag when a hand touches his head, follows the bowl when it's pulled away, and eats with enthusiasm. While protective of his food, there's no escalation in behavior.' In the presence of other dogs, Bubbles typically ignores them and avoids any loud ones. Bubbles' journey is a testament to his resilience, and he's now looking for a loving companion to continue his story.
