Maverick and his litter mates were dumped in a national forest when they were a few weeks old. Caring people found them and took them home. Instead of looking for real homes for the pups they were advertised on line as 'free puppies.' Because they had a sensational story to go with them, they went fast. Now they are all showing up in local animal shelters, one by one. Maverick is a happy healthy boy, started on his vaccinations and deworming and leash training. He appears to be a lab/german shorthair mix, but who knows for sure. One thing about him, he already shows a ball obsession. He loves everyone, and would like an active, outdoor type home.
