About Cruz

Golden Retriever / Lab
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Cruz is a male Labrador and Golden Retriever mix puppy, BORN 9/19/23. He came to us with his siblings after their mom was hit by a car when they were only 4 weeks old. Since then, he has been kept with a littermate and thrived well in his foster home while now being ready to find his forever family! In foster care, Cruz is working on housebreaking and crate training, but that will need to continue with his new, forever home. He is young and new to exposures in the world, so he currently does well with other dogs, cats and dog educated children, and continued exposure and socialization will be key for this boy as it is for any other young influential puppy! Cruz is a very young puppy and new adopters need to be aware that they will need to work with him for future success - we will be available to help give guidance and answer any questions or concerns as needed. To meet Cruz please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html Cruz's adoption fee is $450, which includes his dewormings, neuter at our vet (when of age), vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) and microchip with lifetime registration. If you are out of area and the pup is too young to be spayed at time of adoption, adoption fee will be less, and you will be contracted to complete vetting with proof being provided to the rescue. *Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you! ***100% of adoption fees go back to the animals and help provide for medical care for our rescues that need specialized medical care and surgeries. Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion.
