It breaks our hearts to have to write this. We are looking for a new home for our loved Aussie Finnley (aka Finn or Finny or Finny boy). A little bit about him.. He's 9 years old and his birthday is June 14. He's great with older kids and adults. An absolute lover and just wants to be around his people. Hes totally content snuggling on the couch or playing in the yard. He's an anxious one and is on meds daily to help with this. He would be best suited for a calm and stable house, with a fenced yard to explore. He'd be great with older kids or just adults. He doesn't do well with other dogs and is often reactive towards them. Unknown toward cats. He's all caught up on vaccinations. With a toddler and 18 month old at home, Finny just doesn't get the attention or exercise that he desperately needs. He likes to lean into his herding instincts with small children by nipping and biting which is problematic for our little ones, which is why he'd be better with older kids. He's completely house trained, has never had an accident indoors. He is a bit of a Houdini when it comes to finding people food though. We love him to death. And are utterly heartbroken and gutted at the fact that we've decided this. But we know deep down he deserves better. We just want him to be loved and go to a good home. He's got great years of love and life left and he deserves every bit of happiness we can give him.
