About Luna

Foster or Adopt Luna Luna is entering her senior years and is so ready to just live in her forever home. She is back at the kennel and has been enjoying her time on walks and hanging with volunteers but she says no offense she would rather be in a home. Luna has been so good at the events she has attended and has really calmed down since the last time she was at the kennel. She has even been able to go on pack walks giving a nice distance from other dogs. Luna makes a great copilot and loves going on adventures. She loves exploring around the yard, basking in the sunshine, watching birds flyby and just having a space to call home. Like so many rescue dogs, she's a happy, medium energy lady who craves the love and attention of humans and rather not share them with another dog. Luna was given up as a middle aged dog who only knew one home and had to start over. Luckily Luna has transitioned easily into a foster home so we know she'll transition easily again into her forever home. Luna is low maintenance, nondestructive, crate trained and house trained. She is 8 1/2 years old but has plenty of pep in her step. Her little teefies are everything! She has been with our rescue for well over a year and has never gotten one single application.
