About Hank

Hank is a roughly 1.5-2yo male Kelpie looking for a new home. I got him out of a neglectful situation where he had zero socialization until meeting my care 2 months ago. Hank has bonded pretty well with me (female) and does take a minute with strangers. Has shown zero aggression even when cornered/provoked. That being said he needs more time before being in a home with young children. Hank is not protective of anything, but I have other (intact) male dogs that he has snapped at while communal feeding. Not protective of bedding or toys and plays well with others. I'd say he can have as much energy as you want- he goes on runs with me and can work with me all day, but when we are in the house he is a slug. Does not bother cats, chickens, sheep, cows or horses. He is a great pet, just needs more time to come out of himself and relax. Can help find or provide transport if needed
