I have a sad story. My Mom took me in as a pup -- given away in a parking lot. We were such a great team for 4 special years -- but she came on really bad times, and was forced to give me up. I was then adopted to great guy, Ed, in Carson City. Sadly, Ed died very unexpectedly in September, and left me an orphan ; ( (((. But, I was resilient and kept an open heart. Ed's friend Robyn, took me in -- so I am safe and loved again, until she finds me my forever (I hope this time) home. I am TOTALLY a respectful house guest. I don't get into anything I shouldn't. I love the dog door access to the yard, and don't ever try to escape. And, I am fine home alone. But I sure enjoy my people being around too. Pretty well adjusted if I say so myself. Thanks to my Mom and Ed. Oh, I like to sing with fire engine sirens. You can join in! I like to play with my squeaky toy - or go out for 'trots'. I have congenital stuff going on but I have learned to compensate well. Geez, been managing fine for 5 years. You will be surprised when you see how I can move!! I have my own style. I enjoy short runs (yes I run!) on trail or in the hood -- on leash. Need more work on slack leash slow walks -- but I prefer to run, and would be great companion for a human who likes to trot too (as does my foster mom). And ya gotta love my underbite smile, and black mascara! Beguiling! I love to tour in the car -- but would appreciate a low riding float boat. My ride used to be a Dodge Charger: I am COOL.
