About Peggy & Eliza

This bonded pair is possibly a mother daughter duo: Peggy (6 1/2 years, white / tri-color) and Eliza (5 1/2 years, brown / black). They are easy going and easy to love. If you want to snuggle up with two sweet, small dogs look no further! Peggy raises a paw for belly rubs. She loves to lay next to people and receive pets. Peggy doesn't trust other dogs right away, but will warm up to them with time. Eliza is curious and an adventurer, and she also loves her naps. She's very interested in walks and the outdoors, and will benefit from more leash training. Eliza is blind in one eye, but can navigate stairs just fine. Both girls are interested in dog toys such as ropes, balls, stuffed toys, and toys that squeak. Both tested negative for heartworm and are about 18 pounds each. They are potty trained. They've learned how to use a dog door. The girls prefer to sleep together at night in one large dog bed. Eliza will eat Peggy's food, and Eliza will let her, so meals should be monitored. The girls eat better with a little wet food and a little water mixed with dry kibble. Eliza has an excited sound when dog food is being prepared or when she thinks she might get to go on a walk.
