What's up friends!? My name is Julie and I'm a 1-2 year old Plott Hound that came to SVASC as a stray after being found way out in the woods; I might have been lost now, but I know exactly who I'm looking for, now... you! When I came to SVASC, I had a mammary mass the size of a grapefruit on me, but thankfully, I was able to get to the vet quickly and had surgery to remove the mass a few weeks after my arrival; I also got lucky and found the best foster family, who helped me heal up after my operation, but as much as I love my foster fam, I am ready to move on to bigger and better things, like loving you with my whole heart! I love other dogs and would absolutely love to have another dog in my new home, though that certainly isn't a requirement; I can be a little protective over my toys and food, so feeding me in a crate and monitoring playtime is best. I love to romp and run in the backyard and then as the day winds down, come back in for a snooze on the couch, on your lap, or in my crate. Oh by the way, did I mention that I'm crate-trained and house-trained? Talk about bonuses! I am sweet as can be and really love my person!
