About Lilly Lou / Lilou

All dogs are located in southeast Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of interstate 10. It is approximately 1 hour east of Tucson and 2 1/2 hours from Tempe. Please contact Carrie at [email protected] or 602-316-8919 (no texts please) Lilly Lou came to Fedwell Farm with the name Lilou, so we thought that Lilly Lou would be more appropriate for this super sweet girl. Lilly Lou is approximately 7 years old and weighs 80 pounds. She should weigh approximately 65 or 70. Lilly Lou was picked up by Animal Control, taken to the shelter as a lost dog, when no one came to claim her, Fedwell Farm was asked if we would help. We are so happy we did. She is a magnificent, sweet and wonderful girl. Lilly Lou needs to lose some weight, but with a healthy diet and a few walks, the excess pounds will come off in no time. Lilly Lou seems to have been a loved pet. She was given a complete groom and did very well, obviously she had been groomed before. She was in horrible shape when she was found. It took the groomer a couple of extra hours to get her looking her best. Lilly Lou can be a little nervous at new situations, however, she is calm and just waits and then once comfortable is game for almost anything. She learned how to use the dog door and now comes in as she pleases. She is not needy, she is happy to be in close proximity with her humans, but not all over you. She gets along with everyone and although we do NOT have cats, I would imagine she would be fine with them. Lilly Lou is a rockstar on a leash. Gentle and easy, a true blessing. . She would be great in an apartment! She is not high energy and happy to watch Animal Planet while her humans are at work or school!
