Roxie was rescued from a busy intersection where she had been dumped and was living in bushes on the side of the road for at least a week. Many people were trying to rescue her but she ran away every time anyone got close. I agreed to bring her to my home if someone could catch her. I have had her with me over 2 weeks now. She was terrified in the beginning but has adjusted well. I took her to the vet and got all of her vaccines done. She is believed to be approximately 2 years old and weighs 24 pounds. Not expected to get bigger. She has a malformed nose and mouth but she eats well and does not let it hold her back. She has a dislocated hip but it is an old injury and does not seem to bother her. Roxie has a very sweet and passive disposition. She is crate trained and pad trained. We are working on potty training outside now. She has learned to walk on leash. Roxie needs a loving home where she can be a member of the family! Unfortunately, I have a very reactive small dog that does not want Roxie here. I also have 7 cats so I need Roxie to find her special forever home where she will be loved the way she deserves. I know she will be a great dog for the right person. Please contact me by email if you are interested in Miss Roxie.
