He's been abandoned...This time by his rescue...and he's such a good boy. How very sad. Joey just wants a home but the rescue that was suppose to help him ran out of money so now he sits in a kennel abandoned and in danger. Abandoned dogs usually end up back in kill shelters. We don't know much about Joey's past but from what we can tell, it seems people weren't always so nice to him. He's happy to be around and interested in people but cautious with new folks. It takes him a while to open up and show you his belly but once he does, you won't know a deep love. He would do best in a quiet, adult only household where routine and consistency would help him fall into a comfortable groove where he can feel safe. Joey is a 2 year old Bulldog mix who is neutered, has all his vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He needs a buddy person whose companion he can become. He loves toys and hanging outside.
