About Nala

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Waldron, AR Nala is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd in Waldron, AR and weighs between 40-45 lbs. She is spayed and up to date on shots, but isn't on heartworm prevention. Nala is fearful of strangers. She is good with kids, cats and dogs! Nala may have bitten a FedEx worker on the ankle while he was getting back into the truck. The owner's children were outside chasing her in circles, trying to catch her, while the FedEx driver was attempting to deliver a package. The owner isn't sure if she actually bit the delivery driver or not. Nala would do best in a home where she can be walked more frequently or have a doggy door with access to a fenced-in backyard. She will chase vehicles if she isn't contained in the yard. She is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering her because she is very territorial towards strangers or delivery people coming to their home. They also have a foster child who has health issues, so Nala is in her crate a lot of the time. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible!
