About Maizie

Maizie is trustworthy to be left out alone when unsupervised. She is potty trained, crate trained although she doesn't have to be crated, and knows some basic commands. She is good in the car! Maizie does need some work on leash. She has always had a fenced yard. Maizie has lived her entire life with another larger male dog. She has also met some other dogs and did well; she loves to play! However, she is not a fan of snarky dogs that correct her behavior. Maizie has lived with an infant and does well with children. She has not had experience with cats. We believe that she may do ok if introduced with supervision. Maizie is a quiet, friendly happy girl that has taken all the changes in her life in stride. Maizie was adopted as a puppy from us in 2018 and spent her life in Michigan until a new baby with allergies came into the family which is ultimately the reason for her need to find a new home. We have her in a very temporary foster where she can no longer stay due to an issue with an older dog in the home.�%A0 Maizie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.�%A0 If you are looking for a new addition to your home or have a safe spot for this sweet girl to land until a forever home can be found, please apply at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting.
