We adopted Banksy 3 years ago during the pandemic when one of our other dogs died. (We have other dogs.) Banksy is a super sweet guy when he gets what he needs. He loves attention, kids, and snuggling. Banksy was underweight when adopted and showed signs of PTSD. He is tremendously improved. He is much more sociable now, including with strangers. He is full-bred, and high strung. He is physically healthy now. He has separation anxiety. I am now an empty nester. I leave the house for work and travel. So, he misbehaves sometimes. Some things Banksy likes: a) more company during the workday, b) going outside whenever he wants, c) quiet\no sudden, loud noises. He barks a little more than he should. He pees in the house sometimes when he is irritated. I believe that I remind him of a previous abuser. He loves people, but just never got 100% comfortable with me. He will thrive in the right home. I've seen it -- e.g., when he stays with my brother or other dog sitters.
