About Draco

This 2 year old, 70-ish pound German Shepherd has been waiting to go home since October, and we know he would really love a family and home of his own! And what a lucky family that will be! When Draco first arrived at the shelter, it took him some courage to say hello to new people, but he has taken some steps in the past three months and won't need quite as much time to warm up as he used to. In fact, he has developed quite the howl from his kennel, trying to get people or dogs to come say hello to him! It is precious, and so is he... Once he builds trust with his person/his family, we think it will be all loyalty and love! He is the kind of dog who is in tune and aware, just needs time to decide what and who is trustworthy. He needs a yard and room to run! This big, young guy would love to stretch his legs. How does he do with other pups and kiddos? If you have a pup, let's do a meet and greet to see how they fit! We also think he will do well with kids, especially ones that are respectful with pups and give him a little time and space. Then, be prepared for cuddling time! This big lovebug is all about the hugs and cuddles after the trust is there.
