About Scout

A true Catahoula, the official dog of Louisiana. Naturally athletic, with startling electric blue eyes...they turn heads when out in public. This gentle girl has been wonderfully cared for over the past 5 years of ownership, but sadly the passing of an owner and pending move overseas of the spouse, mean she must be handed off to a new family. Great with adults, kids, and other critters. She deserves a good sized fenced yard, and is best suited in a home with several people she can interact with. A single owner in a smallish setting won't be rewarding for her or the owner. Scout is smart, well-behaved and affectionate!
