About Coco

Coco is a 2 year old female chihuahua mix and weighs approximately 12 pounds. She was surrendered to rescue as she was very nervous and not a fan of the couple's son. The previous owner said she was great around him and his wife and slept with them at night and loved cuddling with them. Her foster mom states 'Coco's a snuggle bug. She is nervous all of the time but wants to be social. She has already started warming up to all of our house guests, and she's eager to please. She's so freakin cute and funny and super happy and playful in the mornings.' Coco loves to run around outside in her foster's fenced in yard and chase squirrels. She listens to her foster mom very well and if she says down or no Coco responds immediately. She needs a home with one or two patient adults and is a velcro dog once she bonds with her person as she is rarely not touching her foster mom. Coco is trained to use potty pads, but her foster mom thinks she'd be really easy to transition to going potty outside all of the time. Coco does well riding in the car and gets along with other dogs. She is spayed and current on all vaccinations and will be microchipped prior to her adoption.
