About Sheba & Meeka

Siberian Husky / German Shepherd
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Hi, here's the nutshell info on my dad's dogs that desperately need to find a new forever home before the snow flies! They are husky shepherd mixes and they need to stay together as they are a bonded pair. The Black & white dog Sheba is age 7 1/2 and brown & black dog Meeka is age 4 1/2. They were each rescued into dad's home separately, lived there for several years then their mom died in October of 2021, dad died in May of 2023, and then we had to move them out of dad's home a couple of weeks after he passed away. A lot of trauma for these two little girls. They need to live in the country with room to roam as they are used to living in the country on several acres on a dead end road. They hate living with me in the City Of River Falls on Main Street tied up all the time. They only have about a 10'x10' area to be tied up and do their business at my place and soon the snowplow will fill that area with a mountain of snow. Please spread the word! I'd be forever grateful! Thank you! ~Paige Olson 715-821-7378 p.s. I have been fostering them for the summer, so I have learned a great deal more about their awesome personalities that I can share with potential new forever homes. Thanks again! Hi, I'm Sheba my personality is just like my coat, black and white and I'm 7 1/2 years old. My big sister who is fostering us calls me 'Sheba McEntire'. My very favorite thing to do in the whole wide world even more than eating is to go for car rides every day! I like to bark out the window at cows and horses, it makes me wag my tail. I also like to run free with my sister Meeka and explore around wild lands and the river. We like to catch mice, bullfrogs and dig for moles, it's a lot of fun! My favorite word is 'Go' cause I know we get to go for a ride. I also know the words sit, stay, potty, ball, cookie, treat and eat. My sister Meeka and I have been sad recently because our mom and dad died. Because of that we also had to leave dad's home on 40 acres on a dead end road. So lately we've been living with our big sister in town and we don't really like city life. There's too much traffic and scary noises and smells and we have to be tied up to be safe. We really hate living in town. My sister Meeka and I are all we have left and so we have to stay together. I don't like other dogs, but if I got to know another dog I might invite you into our pack with my sister Meeka. My big sister has been trying to train me to like other dogs. If you have a country home where we can be safe running freely we would love to meet you! Hi, I'm Meeka, I have a brown and black coat and I'm 4 1/2 years old. My big sister calls me 'Meeka-Poo!' I'm the more emotional one compared to my sister Sheba. My favorite word is 'Go' too just like Sheba! I also know sit, stay, potty, cookie, treat and eat. When my big sister asks me if I want to eat I shake my head like I'm saying 'no', but I mean 'Yes! You got that right sister!' My very favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is to go on car rides every day just like my sister Sheba. When we get to the land that we get to run and play on freely we race out of the back of the truck to see who can run the fastest on the trails by the river! It's soo much fun! We explore things together mostly but sometimes we wander off from each other and then remember to go check on each other to see if either of us found something cool by sniffing each others snouts! I bark A LOT in town because there's so many strangers and it smells funny compared to being at home in the country at our mommy and daddy's home. I've even acted out at strangers by trying to nip at them if they turn and walk away from me because I'm scared of all of the changes in our lives. My big sister is trying to train me to be nicer. I love my big sister who is fostering us since daddy died but I really want to move back out to the country with my sister Sheba so we can run around and play all the time instead of being tied up. If you live in a safe place in the country please be our new mommy and daddy forever home.
