About Rufus

Rufus 'roo roo' makes us so sad to have to find him a new home but we have no option to keep him due to moving to an apartment. We have been his home for last few yrs, since we adopted him. We were his third home sadly,which makes this even sadder for us to have to do. All of the local 'no kill' shelters are full in our area and we are running out of time and options and need someone to adopt him. Hes about 5 yrs old, energetic, loves playing fetch. would love a fenced in back yard for him to run or would need long walks. Needs someone who can handle him he is big and strong, he loves all adults women and men and kids of all ages! I have a 6yr old child and teenagers and he is great with them and any of there friends who come over. However rufus cannot be in a home with any other animals, when we adopted him we were told he was not good with animals especially other dogs! And that is the only time we have seen him be aggressive. So he needs to be the only pet in your home.We had him work with a trainer, he knows commands and we taught him how to play fetch and thats his favorite thing to do everyday. He also enjoys swimming in kiddie pool and playing in hose or big rain mud puddles:) please help! Renee
