They came to us from an abusive situation, but despite their past, they have proven to be little warriors. They may be initially shy and nervous when you first meet them, but beneath that timid exterior lies a world of potential. With a patient and understanding adopter, Ed and Lucy can truly flourish and show their true colors. Personality: Ed and Lucy are gentle souls with a heart of gold. They are a bit reserved at first, but once they warm up to you, they're all about the love and affection. There's nothing they enjoy more than gentle pets and cuddles, and they will quickly become your shadow, following you around the house. Ideal Home: Ed and Lucy's past experiences have left them with a preference for companionship. A calm and patient family who can provide them with a quiet and stable environment will be perfect for Ed and Lucy. They may do best in a home without small children, as sudden loud noises or fast movements can make them nervous. Ed and Lucy are potty trained, crate trained and know how to sit. Ed's Wish: All Ed and Lucy wishes for is a warm, loving home where they can feel safe, cherished, and valued. They are ready to leave their past behind and embrace a brighter future with a family who will give them the love and care they deserves. Ed and Lucy are available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. Their adoption fee is $390 local or $595 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.
