My husband found Rosie and her sister abandoned on the road near our home. We were able to find a home for her sister, but not for Rosie yet. Our second oldest daughter is unfortunately allergic to Rosie which is why we need to find her a sweet forever home. Rosie is a precious female puppy. She was the more submissive dog between she and her sister. Rosie loves to chew on bones , be held, go for walks, and run to get a ball. We have been using the bell method to try and house train her. Bells are on a strap hanging from the door knob. You use the puppy's paw to hit the bell, give a treat and tell them 'good job'. We take her outside and tell her to 'go potty'. Once she goes we reward her with a treat and praise. That worked with our other dogs in the past. Rosie also eats very quickly so we have been using a dish with dividers to slow down her eating. We took her to the vet. The vet is guessing she was born around 7/4/2023. She has an appointment to be spayed on 11/6. Rosie is very healthy, loves both children, adults and other dogs. She has not been around cats that I am aware of, to know how she would do with one. Thank you so much for considering sweet Rosie. Just as a forewarning, she is going through the puppy shark mode with the new puppy teeth. Having bones and dog toys available to her is important to save your own body parts.
