Meet Adoptable MERLIN. Merlin is a sweet, playful, energetic boy looking for his Furever Home. He enjoys playing fetch, tug-o-war, and hide and seek. He would stay outside playing with his dog friends, in his foster home, all day if he could! At the end of a long day of play, he wants someone who likes to cuddle and give scratches, especially behind the ear! Merlin is about 2 years old, weighs 55 lbs, Heartworm negative (on Heartworm, flea and tick prevention), vaccinated and microchipped. Merlin is a very smart boy and has participated in a board and train program with positive reinforcement dog trainers to learn his basic cues, commands (sit, down, leave it, come, etc.) and home behaviors. He has truly excelled beyond our expectations and has come so far since being rescued as a shy, unconfident stray and is so ready for his family and to be a lifetime companion! Merlin would love a home with another playful dog, and does well with cats and children over 8, and needs a physically, fenced in yard to be able to freely run & play. Merlin's trainer's loves Merlin so much that they are continuing to foster him which is a great bonus for continued training! When adopted, Merlin's trainers will provide 3 acclimation sessions to show his skills learned during board and train, at no extra cost. Merlin would make a great addition to your family!
