LOCATION: Atoka, Tennessee DOB: 04/07/2021 Tallulah Boo is a beautiful Dane who had a very unique journey. Although marked by some frightful events, she has shown resilience throughout her experiences. Her foster momma says she is absolutely the sweetest girl and definitely a cuddle bug. She is an intelligent, and wonderfully funny girl. She is also deaf so she really required some specialized care from the start. Sadly, her previous owner found it challenging to dedicate the time and attention needed to shape her early life. But regardless, she is a lover for sure - and a Velcro Dane. She loves loves loves human contact and she has an endless desire to please her people around her. This silly girl possesses an impressive talent - she can open cabinets and she enjoys parading around the treasures she finds - toys, boxers, slippers. Her mischievous side emerges if she is left unsupervised - countertops and trash cans beware! She's doing really well with crate training. She will still bark at first when she is put in one but settles down quickly especially if you give her a chew to work on. She walks decently on a leash. She has great manners in a store setting and meeting new people. She is also pretty good for nail trims. She's super smart and very willing to work on training. Tallulah is friendly with other dogs and cats but she doesn't really know her size. She also plays energetically, so supervision around little or older dogs would be needed. When it comes to children, her jumping tendencies make her better suited for older kids with experience handling large dogs. Despite her challenging past, in Tallulah Boo, you'll find a determined and spirited Great Dane who's ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Her family must be willing to provide her with the structure, attention, exercise and affection she craves. She would love a family who will take her along on their outings and adventures. Her journey is one of resilience. She deserves a silver lining.
