Name: Ruby Age: 13yrs Breed: dachshund Sex: female Weight: 30lbs Location: Dallas County, TX Vet info: Ruby is UTD on her vaccines her next rabies is due 10/2024 (she had the three year vaccine). Ruby is spayed and heartworm negative as of 10/2021. Not on any medication. Dog info: Ruby is completely blind due to SARDS. Ruby is 13 years old and has Cushing disease, she has lost control of her bowels and is having to be crated constantly due to the owners work schedule. Ruby is also going deaf and gets confused and will bark until someone gets her. Ruby still craves attention and lights up when she is being pet. She is timid around other dogs but once she is comfortable with them she will play. The owner states she doesn't play long because she tires out quickly and will roll over and put her feet up. Owner states Ruby is also overweight. She is not possessive of treats and has no bite history. Do you have room to foster sweet Ruby?
