About Patches

10/1/23 **Updated Post** Patches was adopted and returned nearly a year later and now she is back in TX at the rescue. she is now about 2.5 years old. Her issue in her last home was that she was 'too protective of the home when the homeowners had people over'. So, with that said, we would like to find her a new home that is quiet or that is ok with putting her away when gatherings are planned. She would also do best in a home as an only dog or dogs her size as well as children older than 8 years. 11/14/22 Patches is a female lab mix about 1.5 years old and weighs 64 pounds. Patches came to us from a seizure/custody case but seems to be very happy and social. She's friendly as can be, does well with other dogs and people but has not been cat tested. She's not had much if any training so her new home will need to be ready to provide that for her. She's used to being in a kennel and is comfortable there. **This dog is currently at the rescue in TX however you can secure this pup for yourself with a pre-adoption which means getting your app in, approved and then paying the adoption fee. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
