Louis is very loyal to his person who should have previous dog experience. Whilst he doesn't mind being around other mellow dogs, he would do just fine as an only dog also. He loves his toys and he will pick a favourite daily. He is very affectionate and loves to sleep on the bed but will also be crated as long as you are nearby. He will do great in a home with older children/teenagers and someone who is home often. He is a little shy but within minutes and a few treats and a squeaky toy he will warm up to you in no time. He likes to be close to you and is a couch potato. Once he's settles into his new home you won't find a more loyal dog. He does very well with positive correction, pulls a little on the leash but young enough to be corrected. For Louis adoption to be successful, it is preferred that his adopter should live within 40 mile radius of Murrieta 92562 for a transitional adoption.
