About Daisy

This is Daisy (Staffordshire terrier) and Pixie (Corgi). Daisy and Pixie are just the sweetest and most loving girls. All they both want is to be with their people and to receive and give love. Daisy's full story is unknown other than she was adopted after being used to breed. She was in a home for about a year after being adopted, along with her sister (Pixie) when their family member had to go into the hospital indefinitely and they were losing their home. A foster stepped up and has been caring for them since then. Their foster family has fallen in love with these girls (as it's not hard to do) but wants them to have the perfect home they deserve. It would be great if they could be adopted together because they get along so well and have been there for each other through so much. They have a great friendship and love each other however I think Daisy would absolutely love if she could be the center of attention. Daisy is extremely house trained however because Pixie was used as a breeding dog most likely in a large facility, she has the tendency to drink a lot of water at once (as though she's unsure when she'll have access to more water) and then can have to go sooner than being let out. She does however use a potty pad. Since introducing a water fountain, she's been less inclined to drink it all at once. She was also tested for a UTI and was treated for two weeks so no longer has a UTI. Daisy has never had an accident and is extremely house trained. She was also used for breeding but most likely more of a backyard breeder. Truly, I've never met a dog that is more eager to be loved and will immediately flop over to show her belly for love. In fact, she's been given the nickname of 'little bulldozer' because she will bulldoze through anything and flip over on her back to receive lovin and pets. She's is sooo affectionate! She also will give you lick baths telling you how much she loves you and wants nothing more than to snuggle. She's great with her toys and dog bones however she does have the tendency to chew sneakers or other things that have your scent so those items need to be picked up. Both girls walk excellent on a leash and are good with other dog friendly dogs and are wonderful girls to have be a part of a family. Daisy wants to say hi to every person that walks by. She has to be held carefully in the walk because for some reason, she thinks SUVs are going to be her best friend getting out, so she pulls towards them when they drive by. They truly are the most loving and grateful girls. Both girls are good with kind kids however because Daisy is a 'little bulldozer' so she could, in excitement, accidentally knock over a small child or older person that's unstable on their feet. They are fully up to date on their vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative. We request a local adoption and that we will be able to keep in touch with their future loving family as these girls are very loved by the people that stepped up to take care of them.
