About Ruby

Once known as Sophia, Ruby is now safe. We found her on Labor Day weekend while we were jeeping. She was laying on the side of a trail. Nearly deceased. Severely dehydrated and malnourished. She had no problem coming over to my friends and I to get a drink of water. She jumped in my Jeep and that's the start of the story of Ruby. She was chipped, but the owner no longer wanted her and did not care that she was missing. She does have some bathroom problems at night, but I'm not sure if that's because she's alone? (we have her in an office at our business). We would love nothing more than to keep this beautiful girl, but she is not the right fit for our family and we are not the right fit for her. We are doing everything we can to keep her from going into the shelter or end up with someone like she was with when we found her.
