About BELLA BROWN

Pit Bull mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Available NY,NJ,CT,PA,DC,MD,DE,NH,RI,LI,MA,VT,ME Beautiful 5 year old Bella Brown wants to be your one and only. She was returned after being there once before. Her family did not bother to include her in a move. Bella is great with people-she's outgoing, friendly, gentle and exuberant. And towards kids, she is the same way. She likes 2-legged friends, not the 4-legged ones. Her family described her as assertive, playful, affectionate, and confident with a low activity level. Her favorite thing is going on walks. Bella Brown is attention seeking. She likes playing tug and fetch, and her favorite toys are balls, as well as chew and squeaky toys. When she is home alone, she is well-behaved. During her second stay, this pretty girl with a pretty smile has been social, and did come when called. She was tense and panting, but did accept contact. She is friendly and allows all handling with staff. Bella Brown is looking to you to save her! She escaped once, now she needs your help to get out of there fur-ever. Won't you be her fur-ever owner? BELLA BROWN@STATEN ISLAND ACC Bella Brown ID#161297, 5 yrs 8 mths old, 58 lbs Large Mixed Breed, White/Tan SPAYED Female Came into shelter as a Owner Surrender Reason Stated: MOVING Medical Behavior Evaluation: 2. Blue Behavior Assessment Rating: INTAKE DATE: 3/26/2023 PET PROFILE: My health has been checked. My vaccinations are up to date. My worming is up to date. I have been microchipped Bella Brown is in need of emergency placement for behavior reasons. Bella Brown has high reactivity to other dogs. When passing a dog in the yard, Bella redirected onto handler. Bella Brown released immediately leaving bruising no broken skin. When there are no other dogs around, she is a very tolerant, sweet, and affectionate dog. She will require a home that can manage her reactivity to avoid another incident. Medically, Bella has an aspirated mass, and it appears consistent with a lipoma. *What my friends at ACC say about me* I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. I would do best as the only pet in the home. I am excitable and energetic! I will need positive outlets for my energy! I'm ready to learn! I need a patient person who has the time to work on training with me. My medical notes are...
