About Cece

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! 'Cece was my grandfathers dog (and love of his life), he passed May of last year, his wife (my step grandmother) had a stroke and ended up passing April of this year. I have been trying to rehome their dog since last May when I knew my grandmother was unable to care for her. I have had no luck at all. She's old, blind in one eye, and not good with other dogs. Before you say 'try a rescue!', I have. They either want thousands of dollars or refuse to take her because of her age and health. I have posted her numerous times on websites and social media and either get bad remarks from people or nothing at all. I can't take her, no other family can take her, of course that was my first attempt, but it's not easy to take in such a big dog who's not good with other animals. For the past 1.5 years, my grandfathers neighbor has been taking care of her, while Cece is still at my grandfather's abandoned house. He can't have Cece at his house, because he has dogs of her own. At first I paid him monthly to do two walks a day, feed her, play with her, etc. He now does it for free because he knows how hard I've been trying to just rehome her. However, I now need to sell my grandfather's house in seven months and she absolutely needs a new home.' I want to help this lady find a forever home for Cece!
