Name: Spice Age: about 2 years Breed: American Bully mix, 45 pounds Sex: Female, not spayed Location: Jefferson County, TN 'Spice is a really well behaved and happy dog! She is super sweet and likes to get as close as possible to you on the couch. She loves to play fetch, and chase her tail. She seems to still be waiting for her former owner to appear when she is out front. She is a really good dog. If I could keep her I would.' Vet Info: Spice is not current with vaccinations. She's not spayed or heartworm tested. It's the understanding of her Good Samaritan that Spice had a complication during an ear cropping procedure. Spice has partial vision. Per her Good Samaritan, 'She does occasionally run into people or objects but not often, usually she is in a hurry or excited. She likes to play fetch but cannot see the tennis ball or toy even if it is at her feet. I use a puppy Kong because it bounces, and she doesn't lose track of it like the ball.' We're told that she has occasional seizures, 'When she has seizures she is asleep, they are full body, and she is unresponsive. I have never seen her have one while she is awake. She doesn't lose her bowels or bladder but drools and foams at the mouth some. It takes her a few minutes to get back to normal, as she is off balance and weak. She seems to have them about every 2-3 months, and will have 2 within 24 hours.' Her Good Samaritan tells us that she's had fewer seizures recently. Her Good Samaritan reports that Spice is healthy otherwise Dog Info: Spice was left with a Good Samaritan who is caring for her after a roommate moved out and left her there. Due to having other animals and life circumstances, she cannot keep Spice. Spice is an indoor/outdoor dog with a fenced yard. Unless the weather is too cold or stormy, she spends the day outside with the other two dogs in the home. They play after their owner comes home from work, and they come inside in the late afternoon or evening. They go out before bed, and then they are inside until morning. Spice doesn't jump on the bed and prefers to sleep on her dog bed. She does like to be on the couch. Spice likes toys that make noise and is not a big chewer.
