Meet Gumbo!! This handsome goofy boy came into the shelter with Jambalaya. They are besties who love playing and pouncing around together. Gumbo is a good troop who just loves lots of love!!! He enjoys playing in the fenced in yard with his friends while exploring the fruit bushes. Lol!!! Gumbo loves water and enjoys playing in the kitty pool. This boy would love an active family or couple who would take him on outdoor outings in the nature world. Gumbo is a smart boy and loves to please his people. Training should be fun and rewarding for this guy. Gumbo loves giving hugs and kisses as his is a taller boy. He is one sweetheart!!!! Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. HEARTWORM NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 5-6 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
