About Carter

Hi! My name is Carter, and I am looking for that special family that I know is out there just for me. I am still learning all the things (I never knew there was so much to know!) so my family should be one with patience as I learn. You see, I am a handsome, well-natured boy. Instead of being a member of a family, I was used as a stud to make puppies repeatedly. Even though that was my life, I love humans! Those were the first 5 years of my life, and I am ready to have a family of my own. I am very scared of other dogs when I first see them and it takes me a while to open up, but my foster says I am good with them once I get to know them. I am good with people and kids. I want to be part of a family! Still learning how to walk on a leash properly. I will learn, I know it! I am a people pleaser and would love to please you, but I'm not sure how to do that either. My foster says I am humble and love to roll in the grass like a puppy. I want to learn all the things; will you teach me? I am neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
